Soprano Kimberly Gunderson holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt University where she studied with Judith Haddon. At the CCPA, Kimberly performed as Jenny Diver in The Beggar’s Opera, Peep-bo in The Mikado and as Charlotte in the Chicago première of Ronald Perera’s opera, The Yellow Wallpaper. Gunderson has also performed in the Skylight Opera Theatre’s La Bohème, and with Music by the Lake in Romberg’s New Moon and in Gilbert & Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance. In addition to operatic work, Gunderson has sung with the Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee, as well as the Grant Park Chorus of Chicago and is a member of VOX 3. She has also performed as a soloist with the Chicago Choral Artists, the Music By the Lake Singers and the CCPA chorus. Gunderson lives in Chicago and studies with Connie Haas of Milwaukee.
