Pianist and VOX 3 Music Director James Morehead has taught courses in German Diction, Music Theory, and Music History at Roosevelt University and is a staff accompanist for voice lessons, recitals, and musical theatre. He is also the choir master/organist at St. Helena's Episcopal Church in Burr Ridge, IL. Morehead received his Master of Music in Piano Performance and Music Theory from Roosevelt University and his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Duquesne University. He has been music director for productions at Bailiwick Repertory (Jeff nomination for Bare), Jedlicka Performing Arts Center, Roosevelt University, and NEXT Theatre. As a pianist, Morehead has performed throughout Chicago in recitals at Roosevelt University, Northwestern University, DePaul University, and the University of Chicago. He has also appeared as a featured cabaret pianist at Gentry on Halsted, Spin Nightclub, Davenport's, the 410 Club, and The Casino.
