VOX 3 is one of four Chicago classical musical ensembles invited to perform on the first-ever Classical Music Festival at the Inspiration Cafe. A charitable Uptown institution founded in 1989, the Inspiration Cafe provides meals, counseling and career services to homeless men and women in a therapeutic community that promotes dignity and respect. Members and guests of VOX 3 will be appearing at the Cafe on June 15; the performance is not open to the public. Second City Brass, Lakeshore Strings of the Lakeshore Symphony Orchestra, and Anaphora will also appear on other June dates. Currently, the music program hosts a regular jazz series that place on the first Monday of every month. Previous groups featured in the jazz series have included the Typhanie Monique and Neal Alger Duo, Mikel Avery's KoKo Trio, Matt Ulery's Loom, Juli Wood's Funkalicious, and the Aaron Koppel Organ Trio.
